My quiet apartment is located on the second floor in an Altbau in Kreuzberg, near Schlesisches Tor. Public transportation in many directions is easily accessible. There is a lot f nightlife in this area, including lounges, bars, and many of Berlin’s hottest clubs. For a nice meal, try the nearby German, Italian, Indian, and Mexican restaurants, among others. Another option is to cook your own foods purchased at one of three supermarkets within easy walking distance. Everything you need to cook meals, make toast, tea, or coffee is to be found in the kitchen.

We stayed in this flat for a week in May, and liked it a lot: excellent location, quiet building, nice space. Bring a jack/cinch-RCA adaptor if you wanna play music. And remember that most Berlin bedrooms don’t have shutters!

This apt has been great for me. It gave me the opportunity to live in Berlin not as a tourist but as a local. I enjoyed the close connections via U 8, Bus service via 265 and 140 and Ostbhf around the City. The connections are very easy. The apt is clean, wonderfully located. I used the markets nearby, both Netto and Aldi. Also I might add that the hot water is wonderful as well as having a washing machne in the apt for personal use. Eric also had a celll phone for my use, and wifi for the computer. It was a wonderful experience to stay at this flat. Thank you to E. Franks for this dream opportunity to live in Berlin.

This is a fantastic apartment, comfortable and with all mod cons (including wifi which is a godsend). It’s in the perfect location to explore and enjoy Berlin. We had such a great time staying here. Eric’s a great host and a pretty cool guy to boot. I would very much recommend staying at Zion, it’s great!

Eric was an awesome host, walked with me to the grocery store the night I arrived, so I got an idea of the neighborhood right away. The apartment was bright and clean and totally comfortable. I loved the location, short walk to some great bars, restaurants and the U-Bahn. Was a great visit and Eric is really cool and easy to communicate with. I’m headed back to Berlin soon and will most likely be staying at Eric’s again!

Nice apartment in a bumping neighborhood. A quick walk from u-bahn and ostbanhof. Eric was very professional and friendly. He recommended some great restaurants in the area – thanks!

The apartment is exactly as pictured and has all the basic necessities for a weeklong stay in Berlin. Thanks!

Yes, the apartment really is as chic, clean, and comfortable as it appears in the photos. It’s a photo-shoot in an architecture magazine come to life! ;-) The location is just a few minutes walk to Kreuzberg bars, cafes, and attractions, as well as near the river Spree and the Berlin Wall “East Side Gallery.” Eric is very friendly and responsive, and more than easy to deal with.

Eric’s place was great! It’s in a residential area that is quiet yet close to cool bars/cafes and necessities like grocery store. Also well connected to Metro. We felt very cozy, it’s great for a couple or one person. Having a washing machine is a great convenience. We felt at home, thank you for making your place available

This apartment is fantastically located, clean, and quiet. We could not have asked for more. Eric was very easy to communicate with, hospital and helpful. I highly recommend this space.

Me and my friend couldn’t have chose a better place to stay in Berlin! Starting by the pretty awesome location!! Close to 2 very good subway stops, walking distance to the wall and very good restaurants, next door to this city beach! And Eric was very helpful and kind! He has bikes to rent for a very cool price, internet working good, teas, spices, etc! And the apartament was clean and cozy in this very nice building! Thanks for all! We’ll be back! Cheers!

We stayed in Zion – great apartment, good location. Very clean and cosy – looked exactly like the photos, just maybe more spacious in real life. Wouldnt hesitate to reccomemend it. Eric was always very quick and easy to communicate with.

We stayed at this apartment for a month. Eric was a great host. He was happy to stop by when we had questions or needed help with the apartment. Also, he has phones and bikes for rent in addition to really complete your stay.

The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from 3 different lively U-Bahn stops. Lots of grocery stores, night life, and clubs, restaurants, fast food in the same distance. The apartment itself is in a very quiet area. It’s close to a lot of things but isn’t in the thick of it all. We found biking to be more convenient than taking the U-Bahn and a great way to see the city. Kreuzburg has had a bad rap in the past. It shouldn’t anymore, we did not feel unsafe at any point in time.

The apartment was very true to its pictures. Big windows, modern furnishings, equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay. It’s an older building. The only negative aspect for us is that the internet connection was shared by a number of people and the router was not in this apartment. Sometimes it didn’t work at all and sometimes it was slow enough to make even loading websites difficult.

This flat is really nice and perfectly located in Kreuzberg, close to the U-Bahn (10min) . Besides, the flat is quiet and there is all the necessary equipment to feel comfortable ! The perfect place to be for two people !

  • Maria

The apartment was great! Just like it looks in the picture. It was nice, clean and very organized. Its conveniently located near many bars, restaurants and cafes. Great stay!

  • Alvaro

Nice apartment for two people, near the subway, with essential to spend a few pleasant days. Clean, bright. Highly recommended.

A note on this one… The internet has been changed, for a new connection with 100 MPS! It is still shared, but it is screaming fast ;)

Awesome location! What an awesome set up! Eric has it setup perfectly. We had everything we needed! Eric was super helpful and had lots of info on hand about the area. We loved our stay!

Erik was nice and friendly. He was waiting for us when we arrived and he was keen to explain us places and restaurants around. He also had a very complete guide in the flat about the nice places to go. Very helpful!

The area is well communicated. There is metro and buses nearby. We arrived at Tegel and it takes around 1,5 h. to take to the flat.

The flat was ok, it was clean and had everything we needed and the bed was really comfortable! The only thing is that there are no blinds so if you are not used to sleep without them, it’s a good a idea to bring something to cover your eyes!

We also rented bikes from him and we enjoyed them very much!

    Nice place and nice guy!

The apartment was nice and totally equiped. Perfectly clean and with sheets and towels as the hotel.
Located in a residential area, Schlesisches Tor (Berlin U-Bahn) is 10 minutes walking distance and in that area you can find a lot of bars, clubs and nice restaurant.

Great value for money. Kreuzberg is the heart of Berlin, within walking distance from Mitte, Alexanderplatz and Unter den Linden. Flat is nice, quiet and clean. Shops, many, many restaurants, U-bahn and bus just a few steps away. Ostbahnhof 10 mins. walk. And Eric the host is like an old friend who’ll fix you up with a bicycle or a mobile phone and share his local knowledge. A pleasure to recommend!
