We stayed at this place for a month and had a great time. The kitchen is stocked well enough to enjoy lots of cooking, the apartment is quiet and sunny. The neighborhood is amazing — you are just a few steps from the river, a block or two from cafes, bars, restaurants, and just a few blocks from the heart of Kreuzberg.

Beautiful and comfortable, equipped with everything needed, including the Internet, the owner is friendly and helpful.
the location is excellent in the heart of Kreuzberg, close to the metro and the center of Berlin (walking and cycling).
For those interested in the nightlife of Berlin’s position is ideal as close to great clubs.
If you search the real Berlin atmosphere this is the place.

The two of us have had an excellent time in this lovely apartment. The space is used very well, which gives the apartment a spacious feel. All furniture and equipment that we needed was there. There is a good supermarket and bakery nearby.

Great apartment, comfy and fully equipped – had everything we needed & more. Would definitely recommend for longer stays. Easily reachable U-Bahn station, bus stop just in front of the house. Shops and pubs just a short walk from the place.

Me and my boyfriend had a great time at the apartment! Exellent location, and krutzberg is really a nice area in Berlin! and the flat is cozy and well equipped!

We will come back again soon!

Staying at Erics flat in Kreuzberg helped us to really get to know the area. The kitchen already had cooking supplies and the apartment was nicely decorated. I would recommend this spot to anyone. For late night eats, check out the Huhnner Haus on Skalitzer!

Me & my boyfriend have just spent there a lovely weekend. We had fantastic time in this wonderful place, celebrating our 4th anniversary :P Everything you need (shops, restaurants and this special artistic soul of Kreuzberg) is in surroundings. The apartment is very comfortable, fully equipped and contact with the Landlord is just perfect. I recommend it with full conviction!

I was very happy with my experience staying at Eric’s place. His description of the studio and neighborhood was accurate. Eric was punctual and responsive. I will recommend to stay at his place to my friends who come to Berlin.

We had a stay in Eric’s apartment for a few days. Everything look like a photos. New kitchen, comfortable bed, really clean and fresh flat. The apartment is in a really fantastic area, close to all famous bars and clubs. I definitely recommended this place.

I’m just come back in my city after a great month in Berlin. I was travelling alone and Eric’s flat was perfect for me; it is actually bigger than how it appears in photographs and it can be also comfortable being in two. The location is strategical: U-bahn station Schlesisches Tor is only 500 mt far. As perhaps the most of you already know, Schlesisches Tor is one of the most vital stations especially in the night: restaurants, cafès, music, streetfood, tobacco shops… But moving just 500 mt away you can sleep in calm and tranquillity, because in the street where the flat is located there are no clubs n cafès, just daytime commercials and other fews.

The location is also strategical for nightlovers; in the nearby there are some of the mostly known nightclubs of Berlin (Berghain, Cassiopeia, Kater Holzig…) and don’t forget Badeschiff (amazing) and Treptow Park! Spree River and East-side-gallery are just a few hundreds mt away. More: there’s a supermarket just 200 mt away. Moreover, the building is quite old and unfortunately the flat is located at the fourth storey… with no elevator! No panic: just think that you’re saving money from the gym!

When I arrived in the flat I found anything I needed for my Berlin-stand, even toppings for cooking. Also, Eric gave me one of his bikes for a special price. Good. My experience was very good, so I strictly recommend this flat to all those travelers who want to get in a real touch with the citylife. Enjoy!

Eric’s place is cosy, clean and *exactly what he describes in his ad. It’s close to the U-Bahn, and very central by foot, about twenty minutes to Alexanderplatz, and across the bridge to the East Side Gallery. The place comes with everything you need, including wi-fi which is fast and dependable. This was my first (holiday apartment) experience, and it was STELLAR! We met Eric later, not upon arrival, and he was super friendly, talkative and helpful, cute dog too ! :) definitely worth it !!

Eric is friendly and very helpful. His indications were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was perfectly clean and had everything we needed to cook. The internet connection was excellent. All kinds of small details made this apartment an enjoyable, peaceful place to rest between two parties. Eric also offers very cheap bike rentals and the location is close to many points of interest.

Eric was easy to get in contact with, although we were not able to stay in his apartment, as we unfortunately got sick and had to cancel our trip to Berlin. We hope to have the chance to stay at his place for the next time.

Eric made our first (Apartment) experience a very positive one! Easy to contact, great suggestions of where to go and a lovely dog – winning combination!

Apartment is very well located for getting round the city, a short walk from East Side Gallery and Ostbahnhof, and loads of other Berlin instituations. Definitely recommend Max & Moritz restaurant! Also very easy to reach from Schonenfeld airport.

The apartment itself is lovely, very clean and comes equipped with bedding, towels and great cooking facilities. Good shower and heating too for the chilly winter nights. The free wifi is really helpful and the mp3 speakers are a really welcome addition.

Be warned though – it is on the top floor and there isn’t a lift so not ideal for those with disabilities or loads of luggage. But this wasn’t a problem for us so all in all – a perfect location and destination for those staying in Berlin!

  • Elena

The flat is exactly as it is described and it’s a perfect place to stay in Berlin and visit different places. It is well furnished and also with books, music and guides about Berlin together with Eric’s personal suggestions: so you will not miss anything! So a perfect place to enjoy that wonderful city!

  • Hayley

The flat was really clean, bright and felt much more spacious than it appears! The kitchen & entire place has everything you need plus super comfy bedding and a good, fast wifi connection.
It’s near a really cool and affordable area with groceries, restaurants, bars and clubs; you just need to walk 12-15 min or so to get there. If you’re interested in Berlin’s club scene, some of the most famous ones are just across the bridge.
Eric was friendly, helpful and easy to contact if we had any questions.

Satori, or Eric’s place, is a pretty good location – only a few minutes walk, or a two stop bus ride, from Ostbahnhof U/S bahn station.
Eric is very nice and helpful and has perfect english seeing as he grew up in Texas. He manages several apartments and lives close to Satori.

The apartment is OK. Reliable heat and hot water and a reasonably well supplied kitchen. The building looks rough from the outside as is the entry/stair case because it hasn’t been redone. The apartment is on the top floor which is quite a hike – 98 stairs.

There a good local German restaurant just out the door at Kopenickerstr and Pucklerstr . It is only a 10 minute walk to Oranienstr. which is a very interesting street.

The area seems safe, only a block off the Spree river. There is a small grocery store 3 minutes walk away.

We spent a nice weekend in Satori Apartment. Eric greeted us on arrival and was very helpful and welcoming. The apartment was clean and has a good location being in Kreuzberg, one of the most vibrant areas of Berlin and absolutely our favorite.
    highly recommended!!

  • Tom

This is the perfect apartment for a couple – comfortable bed, spacious, warm, good shower and kitchen. The hi-fi was also very appreciated! Overall we had a brilliant stay, highly recommended.

  • Elin

Eric was a good host. Good location, just a few minutes to the U-Bahn. We had a good time staying in the apartment.

  • Joseph

Eric was very accommodating for our group and helpful on short notice. The place worked out great and we’ll look forward to using again!

  • Gregory

Maria and I are very happy to stay in Berlin! We proceeded on his entire lengthwise and crosswise. Back in a few days in Berlin, we hope to meet with Eric. I went to dance in the Golden Gate and pleasant music was just what we needed. in the not far away from the house on foot at the intersection of the metro wonderful shop with pastries, you are guaranteed a pleasant breakfast.

Had the most amazing time in Berlin – my first time, on my own, and had a safe, very cool place to stay. I didn’t get the room I originally wanted, but this alternative was even better for me and the price made it affordable to treat myself and friends a little bit. When I had a question or what might have been a problem, it was answered and taken care of. Having a kitchen, the internet and a clean, quiet place to come back to for over 2 weeks made it home for me and I’m going to make a point of booking with Berlin Cribs again if I, hope I, get the chance to come back to most awesome Berlin….
